So really.... What make it southern?
Growing up in Virginia with an exquisite grandmother, a true blue "southern belle," there was something unique... something that society has degraded as "old school" but something each and every girl, and lady need. Whether it was good posture, sitting like a lady, cooking "simply indulgent" food which means it must have an abundance of sugar, butter, or cream, how to keep a house, or how to dress fashionable and still maintain modesty.... to be a "southern belle" according to my Mamaw. She knew the craft of painting, knitting, music, how to listen to people, when to bite her tongue and when to be opionionated and how to be a great mother and grandmother. This blog is to motivate all women to be better mothers, daughters, sisters, and wives...... Let's enjoy the journey!!!

Silly but I guess necessary... Many of my posts are not authentically mine but have been wonderfully shared by family, friends, and other bloggers.
